As a devotee of Marc Jacobs and all things shiny, I was naturally drawn to the Marc Jacobs Beauty line. I've heard rave reviews about the Bronzer Brush but wanted to try out the nail polishes first. I love a good red nail polish and gravitated towards the Jezebel shade for $18 at Sephora
The nail polishes advertise a long-wearing "plasticized" look that's ultra shiny. The colours are super vivid and Jezebel is one of those classic fire engine red shades (although this is not apparent when you look at it online). The bottle itself is gorgeous and embodies Marc Jacobs' grungy chic aesthetic.
Pop off the cap to reveal one of the best nail polish applicators you'll use (perfect for those of us with petite fingers). Ridges run around the side of the applicator handle so you can maintain a firm grip. Popping the top off can be a bit difficult sometimes because of the curvy top but rubber bands always come in handy.
The color payoff is gorgeous and the brush makes it easy to apply. My nails chipped 3 days after the initial application but with a topcoat the polish can last about a week. Definitely will try another bottle from the 34 shades available.
