Fall Scent Stories - My Favourite Fragrances

With the arrival of fall weather, summer days are a distant memory.

I love changing up my scents with the seasons and prefer richer, muskier tones for fall. Over the years, my fragrance preferences have matured from spritzing the Ralph Lauren sport fragrances to toting Bvlgari Mon Jasmin Noir and D&G L'Imerpatrice. Here are my 3 picks for this fall:

Marc Jacobs Eau de Parfum (left)
The original Marc Jacobs scent that is timelessly chic. I love the fresh gardenia topnotes and the adorable little bow on the bottle. Initially, I purchased the rollerball fragrance but quickly upgraded to the 1 oz size after a week!

D&G L'Imperatrice (centre)
I can only describe this one as intoxicating with a very noticeable grapefruit top note. I purchased this at Sephora and it's my favourite scent, ever. I get compliments whenever I wear this and even bought a bottle for my friend for Christmas one year. Although some may consider the grapefruit notes summery, this scent can be worn all year round. Absolutely adore this scent.

Chance by Chanel Eau Tendre (right)
Chanel perfumes are often described as "too strong" but Chanel Chance Eau Tendre is just right. It has a youthful floral scent to it and just smells...classy. I wear this to work and it's the perfect transitional scent from university to workplace.
